Résumé

Lors des funérailles d'une vedette, la journaliste Verity Chandler croise Eric Prince, un entrepreneur de pompes funèbres qui fut jadis son amant. Elle menace de faire des révélations compromettantes à son sujet. Eric la tue, remplace le cadavre de la star par celui de sa victime et fait incinérer le corps...
